Las Vegas Bakeries Guide 2026: Pastry, Doughnuts and Cakes

Las Vegas has two bakery scenes. On the Strip, celebrity pastry counters in the resorts do croissants, macarons and viral pastries at resort prices. Off the Strip, family bakeries, doughnut shops and Asian and Mexican bakeries serve locals at neighborhood prices. This guide covers both, limited to bakeries whose own websites, or their resort's, still listed them in September 2026. It does not quote pastry prices, which change too often to keep current.

On the Strip

Bouchon Bakery (The Venetian)

Thomas Keller's French bakery is the closest thing to a Paris boulangerie on the Strip. The Venetian lists a daily selection of breads, croissants, pain aux raisins, pastries, French macarons, sandwiches and coffee. It is a counter tucked behind the escalators near the Venetian's North Tower guest elevators, so it is best for breakfast or a pastry to go. Mornings are busiest, and the best-sellers go first.

Dominique Ansel (Caesars Palace)

The New York pastry chef's Las Vegas shop sells the pastries that made his name, which Caesars lists as the Cronut pastry, the Cookie Shot and Frozen S'mores. It is the Strip's pastry destination for anyone who follows food trends.

Pronto by Giada (Caesars Palace)

Giada De Laurentiis's fast-casual café serves house-made breakfast pastries "in traditional and unconventional flavors", plus lemon ricotta cookies, cakes by the slice, gelato and sorbetto. A useful quick breakfast if you are staying at Caesars.

Milk Bar (The Cosmopolitan)

Christina Tosi's bakery is on Level 2 of the Cosmopolitan's East Tower. Its cake truffles, layer cakes, cookies and soft serve are the draw, and it stays open until midnight Monday to Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday to Sunday.

Buddy Valastro at the LINQ

The "Cake Boss" runs The Boss Cafe, a casual Italian-American café, and Buddy's Jersey Eats, a food truck-style counter, at The LINQ. Check the LINQ's dining page for what pastries each is serving.

Bellagio

Bellagio has long had Jean Philippe Patisserie, known for its chocolate fountain, and a Sadelle's bakery café. MGM Resorts' sites could not be checked for this update, so confirm what is open on Bellagio's dining page.

Local Bakeries

Freed's Bakery

The city's best-known family bakery, open since 1959 and now in its third generation. The main bakery is on Eastern Avenue, with dessert shops in the southwest at Sunset and Durango, in Summerlin, Aliante and downtown, and kiosks at T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Its signature is the strawberry shortcake; other best-sellers include the Parisian chocolate cake, the Brown Derby chocolate shortcake and a tiramisu cake. Freed's also makes cupcakes, cookies, macarons and cheesecake, delivers same-day in Las Vegas and ships nationwide.

Pinkbox Doughnuts

The local doughnut chain in the bright pink boxes, and the official doughnut partner of the Raiders and the Golden Knights. Doughnuts are made from scratch daily with house-made fillings and toppings. The nearest spot to the Strip is a kiosk inside Bagelmania at 252 Convention Center Dr., open 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or until sold out. The Sunset Road shop keeps a 24-hour drive-thru.

Neighborhood Bakeries Worth the Drive

Chinatown

Spring Mountain Road, just west of the Strip, has Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Filipino bakeries and dessert cafés: egg tarts, pork buns, milk bread, mochi and banh mi on fresh baguettes, at local prices. Mexican panaderías

Panaderías across east Las Vegas and North Las Vegas sell conchas, cuernos, empanadas, tres leches and other pan dulce by the piece, self-serve with a tray and tongs. They are the cheapest bakery breakfast in the valley. Some Hispanic supermarkets have large in-store panaderías too.

Farmers markets

Custom and Wedding Cakes

For a birthday or wedding cake, Freed's is the long-established choice. It offers custom cakes and cake tastings, and delivers across Las Vegas. For any custom order:

• Order early. Wedding cakes are typically booked weeks or months ahead; ask each bakery for its lead time.
• Ask about delivery to your venue. Resorts and chapels may have their own rules on outside cakes and cake-cutting fees, so check with the venue first.
• Plan for the heat. Buttercream and whipped cream do not survive a hot car. Have the bakery deliver, or bring the cake straight indoors.

Bakery Tips for Visitors

• Go in the morning. Strip bakery counters are busiest at breakfast, but the full selection is there early; popular items sell out.
• Leave the Strip for value. A Chinatown or panadería breakfast costs a fraction of a resort pastry.
• Carry pastries home carefully. Cookies, dry cakes and breads travel well; cream-filled pastries and anything iced do not. Freed's ships cakes nationwide.
• Mind the heat. From May to September, chocolate and buttercream melt in minutes outdoors or in a parked car.
