Las Vegas Happy Hours Guide 2026: How to Find Real Deals

How Las Vegas happy hours work in 2026, where the real deals are, the downtown and local specials we could confirm, graveyard-shift deals and how to check before you go.

A drink on the Strip can cost more than a meal elsewhere, which makes happy hour worth planning around. But happy-hour deals are the most changeable thing in Vegas dining: bars change times, drop days and rewrite menus without notice, and many venues don't publish their prices at all. So this guide concentrates on how happy hours work here, and lists only the specials we could confirm on a venue's own website in September 2026.

How Happy Hour Works in Las Vegas

  • Timing: late afternoon to early evening is the usual window, most often somewhere between 3 and 7 p.m. Weekdays are the norm; weekend happy hours are less common.
  • Where the deals are: the deepest discounts are at downtown bars, neighborhood taverns and local breweries, which compete for residents. Strip resorts do have happy hours, but the discounts are smaller and the starting prices higher.
  • Seats: many places offer happy-hour prices only at the bar or in the lounge, not at dining tables. Ask before you sit down.
  • Late-night deals: Vegas works around the clock, so some bars run "graveyard" or reverse happy hours after midnight for people coming off late shifts.
  • Free drinks while gambling: casinos still comp drinks for players, but many now link them to how much you play. That is not a happy hour; don't budget on it.

Specials We Could Confirm

These times come from each venue's own website. Prices weren't published by most of them, so ask at the bar.

Hop Nuts Brewing (Arts District)

A brewery at 1120 S Main Street with a daily happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. It's a good first stop on an Arts District evening; several other breweries are within walking distance. See our craft beer guide for the rest of the street.

Park on Fremont (Fremont East)

A bar and restaurant with a patio at 506 Fremont Street, east of the canopy. It lists happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, so it works at the weekend too. Its kitchen is open Wednesday to Sunday.

Dino's Lounge (graveyard specials)

A long-running dive bar known for karaoke (Thursday to Saturday from 10 p.m., by its own account). Its graveyard specials run Sunday to Wednesday from midnight to 8 a.m., with $7 pitchers of PBR and $4 Jameson shots listed on its site, and pool is 50 cents a game.

Where Else to Look

Downtown and Fremont East

The blocks of Fremont Street east of Las Vegas Boulevard are packed with bars, and many run early-evening deals. It's easy to walk between them. Some cocktail bars here have moved to late-night-only hours: Commonwealth, for example, listed opening hours only from Thursday to Saturday nights in September 2026. Atomic Liquors, the city's oldest freestanding bar, is at the east end; check its current specials.

Locals' taverns

The neighborhood tavern chains are where residents drink cheaply. PT's Taverns, for example, says it has more than 70 locations and runs a happy hour promotion; check the nearest location for times. These are gaming taverns with video poker at the bar, and almost none are on the Strip, so you'll need a car or rideshare.

Off-Strip bars and restaurants

  • Herbs & Rye (3713 W Sahara Avenue) is a cocktail bar and steakhouse long known for its discounted menu. It lists hours of 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., Monday to Saturday, and marks its discounted items on the menu; ask which hours they apply.
  • Crown & Anchor is a British pub at 4755 Spring Mountain Road, west of the Strip near Chinatown, open 24 hours.
  • Local breweries often run their own happy hours. Our craft beer guide lists the ones we confirmed were open.

On the Strip

Most resorts list their happy hours on a dedicated page of their website: the Venetian, for instance, has a happy-hour category in its dining section. Look for:

  • Resort sports bars and pubs, which are the most likely to run weekday afternoon deals.
  • Restaurant bars, including some steakhouses, which offer a bar menu at lower prices early in the evening. This is often the cheapest way to try an expensive restaurant.
  • Mall and promenade bars, at the Miracle Mile Shops, the LINQ Promenade and the Grand Canal Shoppes.

How to Get the Most From Happy Hour

  • Check the day before. Look at the venue's own site or call. Third-party lists go out of date fast.
  • Treat it as dinner. Happy-hour food menus are often enough for a meal, and cheaper than a late Strip dinner.
  • Go midweek. Weekday happy hours are the most common; Saturday deals are rare.
  • Sit at the bar. Prices often only apply there.
  • Leave the Strip once. One evening downtown or at a local brewery usually saves more than the rideshare costs, and it's a different side of Vegas.
  • Tip on the full price. Bartenders are serving the same drink.
  • Don't drive. Use rideshare, a taxi or the bus to get between bars.
