Las Vegas Parking Guide 2026: Strip, Downtown & Airport Costs

Most big Las Vegas Strip resorts charge for parking, and the fees change often, sometimes with the day of the week. This guide sets out the rates we could confirm on each operator's own website in September 2026, points you to the right page for the rest, and explains the ways to pay less. Before you drive anywhere, check the resort's own parking page: a number in any guide, including this one, can be out of date.

Quick Answers

• Free on the Strip: Treasure Island and Circus Circus both advertise free parking on their own sites.
• The Venetian and Palazzo: $20 a day self-parking for hotel guests; non-guests pay $20 Monday to Thursday and $25 Friday to Sunday. Valet is $40 a day.
• Other big resorts (MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn, Resorts World) charge for most visitors, with free or discounted parking for some loyalty tiers and, at several, for Nevada residents. Check each resort's page.
• Harry Reid Airport: from July 1, 2026, short-term garages run $4–$38 a day, long-term $12–$20, and the economy and remote lots $6–$14. The cell phone lot is free.
• Hotel guests: parking is usually charged on top of the room rate and resort fee. Budget for it.

Strip Resort Parking

Free parking: Treasure Island and Circus Circus

Treasure Island calls its parking "always free" on its website, and Circus Circus says "Free Parking Always". TI sits on the centre-north Strip opposite The Venetian, which makes it a practical place to leave a car while you walk the middle of the Strip, though it is courteous (and sensible) to spend some time or money at the resort that is hosting your car.

The Venetian and The Palazzo

The Venetian publishes its rates in full:

The Venetian's garage has 14 levels, entered from Las Vegas Boulevard or Koval Lane, with a 6'8" height limit; the Palazzo garage is entered from Sands Avenue and allows 7'0". There are 40 EV charging spaces across both, at $4 an hour, with a $15-an-hour idle fee once charging finishes.

MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn and Resorts World

These operators run most of the Strip's big resorts and all charge for parking for most visitors, with rates that vary by property, length of stay and day. Look up the current rate before you go:

• MGM Resorts (Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM, New York-New York, Luxor, Excalibur): each resort's own website lists parking under its amenities or FAQ. Some MGM Rewards tiers include free parking.
• Caesars Entertainment (Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, the LINQ, Flamingo, Harrah's, Horseshoe): check the parking page on caesars.com for each resort's rates and any Caesars Rewards or Nevada-resident benefits.
• Wynn and Encore: Wynn doesn't list parking rates online; call +1 (702) 770-7000.
• Resorts World: uses Metropolis pay-by-plate parking, linked to your Genting Rewards account, and says locals get complimentary self-parking. Rates are in the Metropolis app.

How to Pay Less

• Park once and walk. Leave the car at one resort for the day and walk or use the free trams between neighbours: Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur are linked on the south Strip, and ARIA, Bellagio and Park MGM in the centre. Paying one daily rate beats paying at three resorts.
• Use a free resort as your base: Treasure Island or Circus Circus.
• Check loyalty perks. Joining a casino loyalty programme is free, and higher tiers include free parking at many resorts (Sapphire and above at The Venetian, for example). If you already hold a tier with one company, park at its resorts.
• Locals' rates. Nevada residents get free or discounted parking at several resorts (three free hours at The Venetian, complimentary self-parking at Resorts World). Bring your driver's licence.
• Go midweek. Some resorts charge more at weekends; The Venetian charges non-guests $5 more from Friday to Sunday.
• Leave the car at home. If you are staying on the Strip, the monorail, walking and rideshare may cost less than a daily parking fee. See our transportation guide.

Watch for these

• In-and-out charges. Ask whether leaving and returning on the same day counts as one stay or two.
• Event days. Big fights, concerts, conventions and New Year's Eve fill garages early, and some resorts charge event rates.
• Vehicle height. Check garage height limits if you drive a van or tall SUV (6'8" at The Venetian's main garage).
• Hotel guests with more than one car may pay for the second one separately.

Valet or Self-Parking?

Valet costs more (at The Venetian, $40 against $20 or $25 a day), but it saves the walk from a distant garage level, which matters in summer heat, with luggage, or for anyone with limited mobility. Self-parking is better value when you'll be in and out several times a day, since you don't wait for the car to be brought round. If you use valet, tip when your car is returned; a few dollars is customary.

Downtown and Fremont Street

Downtown resorts have their own garages, and prices are generally lower than on the Strip. Circa's eight-storey Garage Mahal at 100 N. Main Street has 982 spaces, with self-parking, valet, long-term parking, a Hertz rental desk and rideshare pickups. Check Circa's site for current rates.

Other downtown casinos (Golden Nugget, The D, Plaza, Downtown Grand, El Cortez and others) run garages too; many validate or discount parking for guests and players, so ask at the cage or players club. Off-Strip Resorts

Locals casinos away from the Strip, such as the Station Casinos resorts, South Point and the Palms, have historically offered free parking because their customers mostly drive. Policies do change, so check the resort's website before assuming it's free. An off-Strip resort can also work as a base if you have a car and are happy to use rideshare into the Strip for evenings. Harry Reid International Airport

The airport has more than 17,000 spaces across Terminals 1 and 3 and a remote lot, open around the clock. Rates effective July 1, 2026:

The maximum stay is 30 days. For a long trip, Terminal 3 long-term or the economy and remote lots are the cheapest official options, and the Saturday-to-Wednesday reserved rate is worth booking early if your dates fit. Arena and Stadium Events

On event nights at T-Mobile Arena, the Sphere or Allegiant Stadium, nearby garages fill early and some charge event rates. Park before the crowds, or leave the car at your hotel and walk or take a rideshare to the venue's designated drop-off. Allegiant Stadium sells its own event parking; check the event's ticket page.

Parking Safely and Avoiding Tows

• Photograph your level and bay; big resort garages are easy to get lost in.
• Leave nothing visible in the car, especially bags and electronics.
• Heat: never leave people or pets in a parked car, and don't leave aerosols, medicines or phones inside in summer.
• Private lots at shops, fast-food restaurants and strip malls are for customers only and are towed. Read the signs.
• Street parking near the Strip is limited and often restricted; a resort garage is safer and usually simpler.
