Las Vegas Rooftop Bars 2026: Where to Drink With a View

Rooftop Drinking in Las Vegas

For a city of towers, Las Vegas has surprisingly few true rooftop bars. Desert heat, wind and casino design push most bars indoors, and several of the high-floor lounges that older guides list have closed or can no longer be confirmed. What remains is a short list of places where you can have a drink with a real view, plus a couple of rooftop pools.

Everything below was checked on each venue's own site in September 2026. Hours and events change often, so check again before you go. All bars are 21 and over with a valid physical photo ID.

Legacy Club (Circa)

The best rooftop bar in Las Vegas that is simply a bar. Legacy Club is on the 60th floor of Circa, at the west end of Fremont Street, with indoor and outdoor seating and wide views over downtown and the valley to the mountains. Circa bills it as "the ultimate golden hour".

• Hours: Sunday to Thursday 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.
• Dress code: Circa says upscale nightlife attire is strongly encouraged, and sports attire, athleisure, casual loungewear and swimwear are not permitted.
• Reservations: bookable online; groups of 15 or more email the venue.
• Sunset packages: offered nightly for up to four guests, with a reserved viewing area, cocktails, a charcuterie selection and a champagne toast.
• Events: seasonal specials such as afternoon tea on the terrace and themed rooftop parties; see Circa's page.

Tip: arrive at opening to get an outdoor seat for sunset, especially at weekends. Pair it with the canopy shows on Fremont Street, which run at the top of each hour from 6 p.m. Our Fremont Street guide covers the rest of the area.

The STRAT SkyPod

For sheer height, nothing else comes close. The SkyPod sits on levels 108 and 109 of The STRAT at 1,149 feet, which The STRAT calls the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. It has indoor and outdoor areas, a bar (108 Drinks) and a casual food counter (108 Eats), and looks down the whole length of the Strip.

• Hours (September 2026): Thursday to Monday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. The STRAT notes hours can change without notice.
• Admission: you reach the bar by buying a SkyPod ticket online or at the tower; prices vary by time, so check The STRAT's site.
• Thrill rides: the rides at the top can be added to a ticket.

Tip: go up about half an hour before sunset and stay for blue hour, when the Strip lights come on beneath you.

Commonwealth (Fremont East)

Commonwealth, at 525 Fremont St, is a two-story cocktail bar that has been open since 2012. Its rooftop is a dance floor with string lights and vintage-style seating, looking over the Fremont Street Experience, the El Cortez's neon sign and the mountains. Downstairs is The Laundry Room, a small hidden speakeasy with very limited seating; ask Commonwealth how to book.

• Hours: Thursday 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday and Saturday 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Music: hip-hop and open-format DJs.
• Who it suits: a late, loud night downtown rather than a quiet sunset drink.

Rooftop Pools and Open-Air Pools

Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan)

A 22,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck at The Cosmopolitan, run by TAO Group, with DJs, daybeds and cabanas. Like most dayclubs it is busiest from June to August. For winter, Marquee covers the pool with its heated Dome, kept at 85 degrees, which returns in October and which Marquee calls the only winter pool party in Las Vegas. Dayclub dress means swimwear; tickets and tables are booked through TAO Group.

Stadium Swim (Circa)

Not strictly a rooftop, but Circa's open-air pool amphitheater is one of the most distinctive places to drink outdoors in Las Vegas: tiered pools facing a 143-foot screen that shows the day's games. It is open every day of the year, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

High Views Without a Rooftop Bar

• Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck (Paris Las Vegas): about 46 stories up, looking straight down on the Bellagio fountains. It is an observation deck rather than a bar; check Paris Las Vegas's site for hours and prices.
• The High Roller (The LINQ): the observation wheel over the center Strip. Check The LINQ's site for current ride options, including whether cabins with drinks are running.
• Bars with a view of the Strip at street level: Mon Ami Gabi's patio at Paris faces the Bellagio fountains, and The Cosmopolitan's Chandelier bar is worth a look even though it is indoors.

Older Listings to Double-Check

Many older rooftop guides lead with high-floor lounges that we could not confirm in September 2026. Check each one on the resort's own site before planning a night around it:

• VooDoo rooftop (Rio): not mentioned on Rio's website.
• Apex Social Club and Ghostbar (Palms): Palms' site blocked our check.
• Skyfall Lounge (Delano) and Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay): long-running south-Strip lounges high in their towers; MGM's and the Foundation Room's sites could not be checked, so confirm they are open and their hours.
• Drai's Beach Club and Nightclub (The Vanderpump Hotel, formerly The Cromwell): Drai's Las Vegas site now lists only Drai's After Hours, which opens at 1 a.m. Thursday to Sunday.
• Ghost Donkey (The Cosmopolitan): sometimes listed as a rooftop, but it is an indoor bar.

Dress Codes, Costs and Timing

• Dress: high-floor lounges usually want smart clothes. Legacy Club bans sports attire, athleisure and swimwear. Downtown bars such as Commonwealth are more relaxed. Dayclubs are the reverse: swimwear is expected.
• ID: bring a physical ID. Many venues will not accept a photo of one.
• Costs: expect resort-bar prices for cocktails at Strip and high-floor venues. The SkyPod needs an admission ticket; Legacy Club's sunset package is a set price for up to four people.
• Sunset: sunset moves by roughly two and a half hours between winter and summer. Look up the time for your date and arrive 30 to 45 minutes before.
• Weather: wind can close outdoor areas at short notice, and summer evenings stay hot well after dark.
• Groups: Legacy Club takes online reservations, with a separate contact for 15 or more.
