Breakfast in Las Vegas: The Short Version

Las Vegas breakfast splits into three kinds of meal: a sit-down breakfast in a Strip resort, a quick counter breakfast on the way somewhere, and a big plate at a diner, some of which serve late into the night. This guide picks the best of each, with days and hours taken from each restaurant's own site in September 2026. Hours change, so check before you go, especially on holidays.

Sit-Down Breakfast on the Strip

Mon Ami Gabi (Paris Las Vegas)

The classic Strip breakfast: a French bistro at the front of Paris Las Vegas with a patio looking across the Boulevard at the Bellagio fountains. It serves breakfast every day from 7 to 11 a.m., then adds a weekend brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon Ami Gabi has been on the Strip since 1999. It takes reservations on OpenTable or by phone (702-944-4224); ask for the patio, and go early for a table in the shade in summer.

Tableau and Terrace Pointe Café (Wynn)

Wynn has two morning options. Tableau is the refined one, with garden views and daytime cocktails; Terrace Pointe Café is more casual, serving classic breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes with garden and pool views. Both open at 7 a.m. They are good choices for a calm breakfast away from the casino floor, and Terrace Pointe works well with children.

Bouchon (The Venetian)

Thomas Keller's French bistro is on the 10th floor of The Venetian's South Tower (reservations 702-414-6200). It is one of the most-loved brunch rooms on the Strip, but its website did not list breakfast or brunch hours when we checked, so confirm the current meal times before planning around it.

Quick and Casual

Eggslut (The Cosmopolitan and Rio)

The Los Angeles egg-sandwich counter has two Las Vegas outposts. At The Cosmopolitan it is open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday to Sunday; the Rio branch is open daily 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Order at the counter, eat in or take it away. The signature "Slut" is a coddled egg on potato purée in a jar; the Fairfax is a soft-scrambled egg sandwich. Lines build at weekends, so go early.

Hash House A Go Go

"Twisted farm food" in plates big enough to share, best known for its sage fried chicken and its Bloody Mary. There are three Las Vegas locations:

• The LINQ: 3535 Las Vegas Blvd S (702-254-4646), center Strip.
• The Plaza: 1 South Main St (702-384-4646), downtown at the end of Fremont Street.
• West Sahara: 6800 W Sahara Ave (702-804-4646), off-Strip with easier parking.

Weekend mornings get busy at The LINQ. One plate between two people is usually plenty, which makes it better value than the menu prices suggest.

Late-Night and All-Night Breakfast

Fewer places serve breakfast around the clock than before, and several famous 24-hour spots have closed or cut their hours. The best-known survivor is the Peppermill Restaurant & Fireside Lounge at 2985 Las Vegas Blvd S on the north Strip: a neon-and-mirrors 1970s coffee shop with famously big plates, such as its French Toast Ambrosia. In September 2026 it listed these hours:

• Thursday to Sunday: open 24 hours.
• Monday to Wednesday: 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., last seating 1:15 a.m.

Beyond the Peppermill, most big casinos keep a café or coffee shop open late, and downtown casinos are often the cheapest place for a late breakfast. Ask at your hotel which of its restaurants is open overnight; it changes more often than guidebooks can keep up with. Our late-night dining guide has more.

Breakfast and Brunch Buffets

Morning buffets cost less than dinner at the same place: at Wynn, brunch is $20 less than the seafood dinner. Wynn limits visits to two hours. See our buffets guide for full prices and the buffets that have closed.

Off the Strip and Downtown

Locals mostly eat breakfast at neighborhood diners and chains rather than in the resorts, and prices are usually lower. A few reliable options:

• Hash House A Go Go on West Sahara, for the same menu as the Strip branch with free parking.
• Black Bear Diner, a family diner chain with four locations in the area: Las Vegas Blvd South, Sahara, Tropicana and Henderson.
• Casino cafés at locals' casinos, such as Ellis Island's Village Pub & Cafe on Koval Lane, a few minutes' walk east of the Strip. Ellis Island itself calls it "the best deal in Las Vegas"; check the menu for current prices.
• Downtown casino restaurants around Fremont Street, such as Magnolia's Veranda at the Four Queens. Hours aren't published online, so call the hotel (702-385-4011) to check.

Saving Money on Breakfast

• Share a plate. At Hash House A Go Go and the Peppermill, one breakfast often feeds two.
• Go counter-service. Eggslut and resort food halls cost far less than a sit-down breakfast.
• Buy the basics. Pharmacies and convenience stores on the Strip sell coffee, fruit, yogurt and pastries for much less than a hotel café.
• Choose a morning buffet over dinner if you want the buffet experience, and go off-Strip to South Point for the lowest price.
• Use your rewards card. Casino rewards points can often be spent in the resort's restaurants.

Timing and Practical Tips

• Go early at weekends. Popular places fill from about 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and the brunch crowd peaks late morning.
• Book where you can. Mon Ami Gabi and Bouchon take reservations; Eggslut and Hash House are walk-in.
• Check the cut-off. Some restaurants stop serving breakfast at 11 a.m. (Mon Ami Gabi's breakfast menu ends then), while others serve breakfast dishes all day.
• Summer: patios are best before about 9 a.m.; after that the heat builds quickly.
