Promote a listing on What's On
Listing on What's On is free: submit yours. Every listing is screened before it appears, and paying never changes that. Two paid options change where a listing sits, both at a posted price. There are no bids, no keywords and no daily budgets.
Paid placement is not open yet. Everything below is how it will work.
Boost: $19 for 7 days
- Your listing's ranking score is multiplied by 1.25 on the What's On pages: the hub, each category, Tonight and This Weekend.
- Money never lifts a listing more than 2× in total, and a listing that scored under 70 in review cannot buy a boost at all. Money can amplify a strong listing; it cannot rescue a weak one.
- Any number of listings can be boosted at once. Buying again extends the end date by 7 days.
- A boosted listing carries a visible “Sponsored” label.
Top Spot: one pinned place per section
Each What's On section - the hub and each category - has one Top Spot, pinned first for 7 days and labelled “Top Spot · Sponsored”. It has a posted price, and the price moves:
- It starts at $25 for 7 days.
- Each paid claim raises the price of the next term by 20%, to the nearest dollar.
- When a term ends and nobody has bought the next one, the price falls 10% a day back toward $25.
- The current holder is never bumped. You buy the next term, which starts when theirs ends - or at once if the spot is free.
- Starting a checkout holds the next term for you while you pay; Stripe's checkout page stays open for 32 minutes. If you leave without paying, the term goes back on sale at the same price: an abandoned checkout never moves the price.
- One promoter can hold a section for at most 4 terms in a row; the next has to go to someone else, or to nobody.
Who can buy
- The venue or promoter that listed it, signed in to their dashboard.
- Published listings that scored 70 or more in review.
- Not After Dark listings: adult entertainment is free-only, because our payment processor does not allow paid placement for it.
- Not listings Smart Vegas Deals added itself. A venue can claim one first.
What we do not promise
We do not promise traffic, bookings or any number of visitors. Your dashboard shows what we record for each listing: detail-page views and clicks through to your link. We cannot see your bookings.
How labels and links work
Every paid listing is marked “Sponsored” wherever it appears on What's On, and its outbound link carries rel="sponsored", as search engines require for paid links. Paid placement never appears inside our guides. See also our affiliate disclosure.
Payment
Payments go through Stripe's own checkout page; we never see your card number. Stripe emails your receipt, and we email a confirmation of what you booked. A refunded payment ends its placement. Questions: contact us.
