Las Vegas Outlet Malls 2026: North vs South Premium Outlets

Las Vegas has two big outlet centers, both run by Simon: Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, just west of downtown, and Las Vegas South Premium Outlets, south of the Strip. They are very different places to shop, and choosing the right one saves you a wasted afternoon. This guide compares them using the centers' own information, checked in September 2026.

Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

North is the bigger and better-known of the two. Simon describes it as an "airy, outdoor village-styled center" with more than 180 designer and name-brand retailers, including kate spade new york, Michael Kors, Pandora, Tory Burch, Coach, Nike, lululemon and Burberry. It also lists outlets such as Tod's, MCM, Guess Factory, Armani and Hugo Boss.

Address: 875 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89106, off I-15 at exit 41 (Charleston Boulevard).
Hours: Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Holiday hours differ; check before you go.
Parking: a flat $5 for the day, paid by cash or card at a pay station before you return to your car (cash is not taken at the exit). Nevada residents, military and tour buses park free; locals take a ticket on arrival and validate their Nevada ID at the exit.
Food: The Cheesecake Factory, Shake Shack, Chipotle and a food court.
Services: Guest Services is at the main entrance in Suite 1690, and there is a rideshare pickup and drop-off zone.

Summer tip: because North is open-air, you walk between stores outside. In the summer heat, go when it opens and take water. From October to April it is pleasant.

Las Vegas South Premium Outlets

South sits on South Las Vegas Boulevard, south of the resort corridor, which makes it handy if you are staying at the south end of the Strip or have time on your way to or from Harry Reid International Airport. Simon's site blocked our checks in September 2026, so confirm the current hours, parking terms and store list on its Las Vegas South page before you go.

If you only have time for one center and want the widest choice, pick North. Pick South if it is simply closer to where you are.

Getting There

By bus

Simon's directions for North Premium Outlets use the RTC's Deuce, the double-decker bus on Las Vegas Boulevard, to the Bonneville Transit Center downtown, where you transfer to Route 401 for the outlets. Simon lists Strip-route fares of $6 for two hours or $8 for a 24-hour pass; check current fares with the RTC.

Downtown Loop

The City of Las Vegas's free Downtown Loop shuttle stops at North Premium Outlets on South Grand Central Parkway, between Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger Kids. Simon lists it running Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 3 to 10 p.m. If you are staying downtown, it is the easiest way there. By car or rideshare

From the Strip, both centers are a short drive. North is reached from I-15 at Charleston Boulevard; Simon also gives directions from Las Vegas Boulevard (left on Charleston, right on Grand Central Parkway). Both centers have rideshare zones. Real Deals vs Made-for-Outlet

Outlet stores sell two kinds of stock: leftovers and past-season items from regular stores, and goods made specifically for outlet stores. Made-for-outlet items are not necessarily bad, but the "compare at" price on the tag may not be a price anyone ever paid. To judge a deal:

Check the brand's own website for the same or a similar item and its current price, including online sales.
Look at the tag. Some brands mark outlet-only lines with a different label or style number; ask staff if you are not sure.
Compare quality (fabric weight, stitching, hardware) with what you know from full-price stores.
Head to clearance racks, where the biggest markdowns usually are.
Ask about return policies before paying: outlet policies can be stricter than the brand's regular stores, and some items are final sale.

Ways to Save More

Check the center's Deals page on Simon's site before you go for current store offers.
Look at Simon+, Simon's loyalty program, which it says gives cash back and perks for shopping.
Sign up for brand emails a few days ahead; many brands send outlet coupons.
Shop holiday sale weekends if you can stand the crowds, or go on a weekday morning if you can't.
Remember sales tax. Clark County sales tax is added at the register, so the shelf price is not the final price.

Planning Your Trip

Allow two to three hours for North; it is large and spread out.
Go early on a weekday for the thinnest crowds and the easiest parking.
Pack light and plan for bags. If you will buy a lot, bring an empty bag or budget for an extra checked bag on your flight.
In summer, carry water and use the shade; North's walkways are outdoors.
