How to Get Cheap Las Vegas Show Tickets 2026: Discounts That Work

Las Vegas has dozens of resident shows playing every night, and most of them have empty seats to fill midweek. That is why discounts exist. But the biggest savings rarely come from one trick: they come from choosing the right show, the right night and the right seller, then checking the total price with fees and tax before you pay.

This guide covers the discount routes that exist in 2026, what each is good for, and where the catches are. Prices quoted were checked on official sites in September 2026 and change with date and demand.

Tix4 Booths (Formerly Tix4Tonight)

The discount booths most visitors know as Tix4Tonight now trade as Tix4: the old tix4tonight.com address redirects to tix4.com. The company says it was founded in Las Vegas in 2002 and sells both online and at booths on the Strip. It carries a wide range of shows and attractions, including several Cirque du Soleil productions.

In September 2026, Tix4's locations page listed six Strip stores:

Tix4 says hours can change during holidays and events. Older guides that send you to booths at the Hawaiian Marketplace or on Fremont Street are out of date: neither appears on the current list.

How to use it well

• Compare with the official price. Look up the same show, date and seat category on the show's or resort's own site first. A "discount" is only real against that number, fees and tax included.
• Be flexible. Booth and online inventory changes daily. It suits people who want a good show tonight more than people who need one specific show.
• Read the terms. Tix4's terms describe a cancellation notice period that varies by show and a possible $30 administrative charge. Assume a purchase is hard to undo.
• Cirque is different. Tix4 is a third-party seller, not an official Cirque du Soleil outlet, and Cirque's own Las Vegas sales are all final. Check exactly which seats you are getting before you pay.

Official Offers on Show and Resort Sites

The most overlooked discounts are on the show's own website. Many productions keep an "offers" page, and the discounts there come with the show's own customer service if something goes wrong.

Two examples from September 2026:

• Blue Man Group (Luxor): tickets from $68.36 including taxes and fees. Its offers page listed a seasonal saving of up to 20%, $35 college-student rush tickets on the day at the Luxor box office (two per valid student ID), 30% off bundles with the BODIES or TITANIC exhibitions at Luxor, and 25% off FlyOver when you show a Blue Man ticket (or vice versa).
• Mystère (Treasure Island): TI's show page listed limited-time promo codes of 25% and 30% off select shows, Family Nights on Monday and Tuesday 6:30 p.m. shows with children saving up to 50%, and up to 50% off for active military and children under 12 by phone or at the box office.

Other shows run their own offers, from partner bundles to discounts for groups. Before you buy anywhere else, check the show's site and join its mailing list: many productions send offers to subscribers.

Cirque du Soleil: What Actually Saves Money

Four Cirque shows run in Las Vegas in 2026: "O" at Bellagio, KÀ at MGM Grand, Mystère at Treasure Island and Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay. In September 2026, Cirque's ticket pages showed starting prices of $69 for KÀ, $77 for Mystère, $99 for Michael Jackson ONE and $125 for "O", plus tax.

• Pick the cheaper show. KÀ and Mystère start well below "O".
• Use Mystère's published discounts (above) if you are military or travelling with children.
• Compare dates. Prices vary by night and time, so check a few performances if your schedule is flexible.
• Groups can ask Cirque's group sales for rates, and Cirque's free Club Cirque list promises word of presales and discounts.
• Don't count on a refund. Cirque's Las Vegas page says all sales are final and tickets are non-transferable.

Casino Rewards Programs

The big resort groups run free loyalty programs: MGM Rewards across MGM's resorts, Caesars Rewards across Caesars properties, and Wynn Rewards at Wynn and Encore. Joining is free, and members receive offers by email and in their accounts. What you get depends on your tier and how much you play: occasional visitors typically see discounted offers, while regular gamblers may be offered complimentary tickets.

• Sign up before you travel so offers can reach you, and use one card consistently within a resort group.
• Ask at the rewards desk what entertainment offers your account has. Offers change, so treat anything you read online as a hint, not a promise.
• Don't gamble to earn tickets. If you weren't going to play anyway, a comp costs more than a ticket.

Timing: When Prices Drop

Many shows use dynamic pricing, so the same seat can cost noticeably more on a Saturday than on a Tuesday. There is no fixed discount to rely on, but the patterns are consistent:

• Midweek nights are usually cheaper than Friday and Saturday.

Resorts also sell room-and-show packages from time to time; compare the package price with the room rate and ticket price bought separately, including the resort fee, before assuming it saves money.

Traps to Avoid

• Resale markups. Resale marketplaces such as StubHub and SeatGeek often charge above face value for resident shows. Use them for sold-out concerts, not for shows with seats on the official site.
• Fees and tax. Compare total prices. Some sites show prices with fees and tax included (Blue Man Group's "from" price does); others add them at checkout.
• Timeshare "free tickets". Booths offering free or very cheap tickets in return for attending a sales presentation cost you hours of your trip.
• Street sellers and unofficial sites. Buy from the show, the resort box office or an established seller only.
• Closed shows. If a package or reseller offers LOVE, Mad Apple or another closed show, it is out of date.

A Simple Plan That Works

1. Shortlist two or three shows you'd be happy to see, and note their dark days.
2. Check each show's official site and offers page for your dates; note the total price.
3. Check the resort's rewards account for any show offer.
