Las Vegas has a handful of ways to fly, fall or zip, from a slot-machine launch tower downtown to a jump off the top of The STRAT. This guide covers the ones we could confirm with the operators' own websites in September 2026, with their prices, weight limits and age rules. Prices are starting rates and change with the day and the season; taxes and fees may be added.

SlotZilla on Fremont Street
SlotZilla launches from a slot-machine-shaped tower behind the 3rd Street Stage near The D and sends riders along the pedestrian mall under the Viva Vision canopy. There are two rides:
- Zip Line: seated, launching from 77 feet and covering three blocks. From $49 Monday to Thursday and $55 Friday to Sunday. Riders must weigh 50 to 300 pounds.
- Zoom Line: lying face-down, "superhero" style, launching from 11 stories and covering five blocks. From $69 Monday to Thursday and $75 Friday to Sunday. Riders must weigh 80 to 300 pounds.
- Hours: noon to 1 a.m. Monday to Wednesday (last ride 12:40 a.m.), and noon to 2 a.m. Thursday to Sunday (last ride 1:40 a.m.).
- Height: riders can be no taller than 6'8".
- Children: riders 13 or younger must ride with someone 13 or older, and both must meet the weight limits.
Which one? The Zip Line is the gentler, cheaper introduction and suits younger riders. The Zoom Line is longer, higher and the one to pick if you only ride once. After dark, you fly through the canopy lights; weeknights are usually quieter than weekends. Our Fremont Street guide covers the rest of downtown.
SkyJump at The STRAT
SkyJump is a controlled free-fall from the 108th floor of The STRAT, 855 feet above the Strip, on a guided wire. The STRAT says jumpers reach speeds of more than 40 mph before landing on a target pad at the base. It is a guided descent rather than a bungee jump.
- Price: $139.99 per jump Monday to Thursday and $169.99 Friday to Sunday. The STRAT lists a $99.99 offer for its hotel guests and Nevada residents.
- Age: 14 or older; under-18s need a parent's consent.
- Weight and height: up to 265 pounds, and at least 52 inches tall.
- Hours: noon to 8 p.m. Thursday to Monday and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting. High winds stop jumps.
The STRAT tower, 1,149 feet tall, also has thrill rides at the top: one shoots riders 160 feet up the mast at 45 mph, and another teeters them over the edge. Check The STRAT's site for current ride prices and height limits. The observation deck alone is a gentler way to take in the view.
Tandem Skydiving
Skydive Las Vegas flies from the Jean Aviation Sport Center at 23600 S Las Vegas Blvd in Jean, south of Las Vegas along I-15. It lists tandem jumps from 12,500 feet, starting at $199 for early bird slots and $219 regular, plus a $10 fuel surcharge, and a free shuttle from the Las Vegas Strip. Weight restrictions apply; check the limits and age rules when you book. Photo and video packages cost extra.
Jumps depend on the weather, so book early in your trip in case you need to reschedule, and don't plan a flight home for the same day.
Desert Zip Lines
Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon, in the hills above Boulder City, has long run a multi-line desert zip tour with views toward Lake Mead. When we checked in September 2026, its booking website wasn't online, so confirm with the operator that tours are running before you plan a day around it. For a bigger day out, see our Grand Canyon West Rim guide.
Limits, Safety and What to Wear
- You will be weighed. Weight limits are enforced at check-in for safety; if you are near a limit, check before you pay.
- Closed-toe shoes that won't come off. Leave hats, loose sunglasses and anything in your pockets in a locker.
- Phones and cameras: operators have their own rules, and many don't allow loose phones on the ride. Most sell photos or video; ask before you go.
- Alcohol: operators can refuse anyone who appears intoxicated, so ride before the bar, not after.
- Health: if you are pregnant or have heart, back or neck problems, read the operator's waiver and check with your doctor.
Best Times to Go
- SlotZilla: weekday afternoons for the shortest waits; after dark for the canopy lights; Monday to Thursday for the lower prices.
- SkyJump: Monday to Thursday is $30 cheaper. Go on a calm day; wind cancels jumps.
- Outdoor activities in summer: book the earliest slot. Desert heat from June to September makes midday dangerous.
