About

Brad Garrett's Comedy Club is a stand-up club at MGM Grand, run under the name of comedian and actor Brad Garrett. It opened at the resort in 2012. In 2021 it moved out of its original basement room and up to the main level, in the dining area MGM calls The District.

Garrett has said he wanted the new room to feel like the 1920s. The club highlights its black velvet curtain and calls the space intimate. A lounge next to the showroom hosts live music; the club's homepage lists Fridays from 6:30 PM with no cover charge.

Every show has three comedians, including a host and a headliner, and the lineup changes every few days. Garrett does not play every night. His dates are marked on the club schedule.

What to expect

A night here is a standard three-comic stand-up lineup that runs about 75 to 90 minutes. The headliners are touring comics from the national circuit, and the bill changes every few days, so check the schedule to see who is on. Strobe lights and atmospheric effects may be used.

Unlike many comedy clubs, there is no drink minimum. There is no kitchen either. The club sells popcorn in sweet and savory flavors, made locally in Las Vegas. Hats signed by Brad Garrett are sold after each show and online. The room is 18 and over, and you must be 21 to order alcohol.

Questions about Brad Garrett's Comedy Club

Does Brad Garrett perform every night?

No. The club says Brad Garrett's own dates are marked on its schedule and can change, and other nights have a different host. Every show still has three comedians, a host and a headliner among them, and the headliners rotate every few days, so check the club's calendar for the night you want if seeing Garrett himself matters to you.

Is there a drink minimum at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club?

No. The club's FAQ says it has no drink minimum inside the showroom, which it notes is unlike most comedy clubs. Guests 21 and over can buy drinks. There is no kitchen or food menu, but the club sells freshly made sweet and savory popcorn from a Las Vegas maker. Outside food and drinks are not allowed in.

What is the age limit for Brad Garrett's Comedy Club?

The club's rule is 18 to laugh, 21 to drink. Everyone in the showroom must be at least 18 years old, and only guests 21 and older can be served alcohol. Anyone under 18 will not be admitted, even with a parent.
