Las Vegas Pool Day Passes 2026: How to Swim Where You're Not Staying

Las Vegas resort pools are mostly for registered guests: you show your room key at the towel desk. But if your hotel's pool is small, closed for the season, or you're staying somewhere without one, there are legitimate ways in. Some resorts sell day passes, dayclubs sell tickets, and a cabana or daybed booking often includes pool entry. This guide covers each route and the prices that resorts publish themselves.

Checked September 2026, at the end of the 2026 pool season. Only prices shown on a resort's own page are quoted here; where a resort doesn't publish one, check its booking page. Most resort pools cut back or close in the cooler months, and 2027 season dates hadn't been announced.

Five Ways In

1. A day pass sold by the resort to non-guests. The simplest option where it exists.
2. A dayclub ticket. Pool parties such as Encore Beach Club, TAO Beach, Marquee and Palm Tree Beach Club sell general admission tickets, usually 21 and over. It's a party, not a quiet swim.
3. A cabana or daybed booking. Many resorts let non-guests reserve one, which includes pool access for the people on the booking. Minimum spends apply.
4. A local's offer. Some resorts give Nevada residents free or discounted entry on certain days with ID.
5. A cheap room. On a quiet weeknight, a room at the resort can cost less than a cabana, and gives the whole party key-card access. Compare the total including the resort fee.

What doesn't work: walking in and pretending to be a guest. Pools check room keys or wristbands at the entrance.

Pools That Sell Day Passes

Red Rock Resort

Red Rock, in Summerlin about 20 minutes west of the Strip, publishes the clearest day-pass prices in town: $30 for adults and $20 for children Monday to Friday, $40 and $30 on Saturday and Sunday, and $50 and $35 on holidays. The pool is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with food and drinks from the Sandbar Grille until 4 p.m., 19 private cabanas, daybeds with chair-side service, and table games on weekends. Children are welcome at the main pool; the Rouge Room cabana area is 21 and over. Hotel guests get in free with their room key.

Resorts World

Resorts World's 5.5-acre complex on the north Strip has five pools and sells day passes to non-guests through its online booking system. The main pools open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Athena infinity pool, which is 21 and over, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Resorts World says pool access is available year-round, weather permitting, with some pools closed in the off-season. Nevada residents get free pool access Monday to Thursday with valid ID.

Stadium Swim at Circa

Downtown, Circa's Stadium Swim is six pools on three levels facing a 143-foot screen, built for watching sports. It holds about 4,000 people, with 200 general-admission loungers plus stadium booths, daybeds, cabanas and water couches, and it's open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. Circa is a 21-and-over resort. Book entry and seating online; prices vary by date and event, and big games sell out.

Strip Resort Pools: What to Expect

Most big Strip resorts keep their main pools for guests. Some sell cabanas or daybeds to non-guests, some release day passes on quieter days, and policies change from season to season, so check the resort's own pool page before you go.

• Wynn and Encore: the resort pools open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for hotel guests, with cabanas and daybeds bookable through the concierge. Encore Beach Club is the separate, ticketed dayclub.
• The Venetian and Palazzo: pool decks with cabanas and daybeds bookable online; TAO Beach is the ticketed dayclub.
• MGM Grand: the pool complex with a lazy river is mainly for guests (check MGM's site for non-guest options); Palm Tree Beach Club, which replaced Wet Republic, is the dayclub, open Wednesday to Sunday in season.
• Mandalay Bay Beach: the wave pool and sand beach are the resort's headline pool. Check Mandalay Bay's site for current non-guest options.
• The Cosmopolitan: Marquee Dayclub sells tickets; its heated Dome keeps a pool party running into winter.

Cabanas and Daybeds

A cabana is a private shaded space with seating and service, often with a TV, fridge and fruit or snacks; a daybed is a reserved lounger for two to four people. Both are priced by date and demand and usually carry a minimum spend on food and drink, so the same cabana can cost many times more on a summer Saturday than a weekday.

• Ask how many people the booking covers, and whether all of them need to be hotel guests.
• Ask for the total including tax, service charge and any minimum spend.
• Check what happens if weather closes the pool, and the cancellation deadline.
• For a group, the cost split per person can compare well with several day passes plus drinks.

When Pools Are Open

• Spring (March to May): resort pools open for the season, often with limited areas at first; dayclubs start on weekends.
• Summer (June to August): everything is open, and it's the busiest and most expensive time for passes and cabanas.
• Early autumn (September to October): the season winds down, with shorter hours and fewer pools.
• Winter: most resort pools close or run one heated pool for guests. Stadium Swim is open year-round, and Marquee's Dome runs a heated pool party.

Tips for a Pool Day

• Book ahead for weekends. Day passes and cabanas for summer Saturdays sell out.
• Arrive when the pool opens for the best loungers; shaded spots go first.
• Bring ID. Adults-only pools and anywhere serving alcohol will check it.
• Leave food, drinks and glass behind. Resort pools generally don't allow outside food or drink.
• Protect yourself from the sun. Sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water; drink water between alcoholic drinks.
• Children: many resort pools welcome children, often at a lower day-pass price, but dayclubs and some pool areas are 21 and over.
