A Las Vegas resort pool can be a quiet garden, a family water park or a day-long party. Picking the right one matters more than picking the right room, because on a warm-weather trip it is where you will spend your days. This guide compares the main pools by who they suit, what they cost to get into if you are not staying, and which stay open outside summer.

When this was checked: September 2026, near the end of the 2026 pool season. Hours, prices and which pools are open change with the season, and several resorts close some pools in winter, so check the resort's pool page for your dates. Pool season details for 2027 have not been announced.

Pool Season in Las Vegas

There is no single citywide pool season: each resort sets its own. In broad terms, the full pool experience (every pool open, cabanas, pool parties) runs from spring into early fall, and winter brings fewer pools and shorter hours. Some resorts keep at least one pool open year-round:

  • Circa's Stadium Swim advertises "365 days" of operation, open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Red Rock Resort lists pool hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with no seasonal closure.
  • Resorts World says pool access is year-round, weather permitting, though some pools may close in the off-season.

Dayclubs run a shorter season. Encore Beach Club, for example, had events scheduled into mid-October 2026. Spring and fall bring warm days with cooler mornings, so a heated pool makes a difference then.

Best Pools for Families

Mandalay Bay Beach

Mandalay Bay's pool complex is the Strip's best-known family pool, built around a sandy beach, a wave pool and a lazy river. Guests of the Four Seasons, which shares Mandalay Bay's tower, also get direct access to it, according to Four Seasons. MGM Resorts' sites block automated checks, so confirm the current hours, which pools are open and any day-pass options on Mandalay Bay's own pool page. See our Mandalay Bay hotel page.

Red Rock Resort

Red Rock, about 20 minutes west of the Strip near Red Rock Canyon, is a relaxed off-Strip option that sells admission to non-guests. Its published prices in September 2026:

DayAdultsKids
Weekdays$30$20
Weekends$40$30
Holidays$50$35

Hotel guests get in with their room key. The pool is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (the kitchen and bar close at 5), there are 19 private cabanas, and a separate 21+ cabana area. Nevada residents can get $50 daybeds on weekdays outside peak season. Red Rock also runs Kids Quest childcare if the adults want a break. See our Red Rock hotel page.

Resorts World

Resorts World's 5.5-acre complex has five pool areas. The main pools are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Athena Infinity pool, which is 21+, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That split works well for mixed groups: families use the main pools while adults head to Athena. Non-guests can buy a day pass, and Nevada residents get free pool access Monday to Thursday with ID. Cabanas are at the Crockfords and Athena pools.

Best Pools for a Quiet, Upscale Day

Wynn and Encore

Wynn has two resort pools, The Pool at Wynn and The Pool at Encore, both open daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus a separate pool for Wynn Tower Suites guests reached through the Tower Suites lobby. Cabanas include a living area with a flat-screen TV and complimentary water, soft drinks, fruit and snacks; book them through Wynn's concierge. No outside food or drink is allowed. Tableau and Terrace Pointe Cafรฉ serve food by the pool.

Bellagio and ARIA

Bellagio's Mediterranean-style pool courtyard and ARIA's modern pool deck are the calmer choices in the center of the Strip. We could not check their current hours, age rules or winter schedules because MGM's sites block automated requests; look at the resort's pool page before you plan around either.

The Venetian and The Palazzo

Each tower has its own pool deck with private cabanas, daybeds and lounge chairs, and both can be reserved in advance through The Venetian's site. The Venetian does not publish hours or age rules on its pool page, so call the concierge on 866-725-2990 to check.

Pools With Something Different

Stadium Swim at Circa (Downtown)

Circa's Stadium Swim is a pool built for watching sport: six pools on three levels facing a 143-foot screen. It is open every day of the year, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., which also makes it one of the few places to swim after dark. Seating ranges from daybeds and water couches to 28 cabanas and stadium booths, all booked through Circa. On big game days, reserve early. See our Circa hotel page.

Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace markets its Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis as seven pools in a Roman-themed garden. Its page loads its details in the browser and would not show them to our checks, so confirm which pools are open, the hours and any adults-only areas on the Caesars site before you go. See our Caesars Palace hotel page.

The Tank at Golden Nugget (Downtown)

Golden Nugget's pool is known for The Tank, a shark aquarium in the middle of the pool with a waterslide running through it. Golden Nugget's site blocked our checks, so confirm current hours and access rules with the hotel. See our Golden Nugget hotel page.

Pool Parties and Dayclubs

A dayclub is a nightclub at a pool: a DJ, bottle service and a door policy. They are 21+, charge admission, and run a shorter season than hotel pools.

Encore Beach Club at Wynn is the best-known. Wynn's nightlife site listed events into mid-October 2026, with DJs including The Chainsmokers and Diplo. Guests must be 21 and show an original, valid government-issued photo ID (passports for non-U.S. residents), and a dress code is enforced. Ticket prices vary by date and DJ; buy through Wynn's nightlife site.

Line-ups, prices and even which dayclubs open change every season, so we keep the full rundown in our dayclub guide and pool parties guide.

Using a Pool You're Not Staying At

Most resort pools are for hotel guests, who get in with their room key. Your options as a non-guest:

  • Buy a day pass or admission where it is sold: Red Rock and Resorts World both publish one.
  • Reserve a cabana or daybed. At some resorts this is open to non-guests; ask when you book.
  • Go to a dayclub, which sells tickets to anyone 21 or older.
  • Nevada resident? Several resorts offer locals deals, such as free weekday access at Resorts World and weekday daybed prices at Red Rock.

Our pool access guide goes into more detail.

Cabanas and Daybeds

A cabana gives a group shade, seating, usually a TV, a fridge and a safe, and its own server. Resorts World lists a misting fan, couch, safe, fridge and TV in its cabanas, and Wynn includes snacks, fruit and soft drinks. Prices depend on the resort, the day and the season, and many come with a food and drink minimum, so get a total quote before you book. A daybed is the cheaper middle option for two to four people.

  • Book ahead for weekends in summer and on holiday weekends.
  • Weekdays cost less, as Red Rock's own price table shows.
  • Split it. For a group of six or more, a cabana can work out close to buying everyone a pass.

Pool Day Tips

  • Arrive when it opens for the best loungers, especially on summer weekends.
  • Drink water. Summer highs regularly pass 100ยฐF, and heat and alcohol don't mix.
  • Reapply sunscreen often, and bring a hat and sunglasses; pool-shop prices are high.
  • Leave valuables in the room unless your cabana has a safe.
  • No outside food or drink is the norm (Wynn states it outright), and glass is never allowed.
  • Bring a layer for the walk back through a cold casino.
