About
Allegiant Stadium stands at 3333 Al Davis Way, just west of I-15 between the Russell Road and Tropicana Avenue exits. The stadium says it is less than 3 miles from Harry Reid International Airport. It is home to the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and the UNLV Rebels football team. It also books concerts and other events.
The roof is fixed and made of clear ETFE polymer, so daylight comes in while the bowl stays climate-controlled all year. The stadium says it was the first American pro sports venue to open cashless. Its tour page lists capacity at 65,000 fans.
Guided tours run on dates that shift around stadium events. Stops can include the Al Davis Memorial Torch, locker rooms, the press conference room and the field.
What to expect
On a Raiders game day, parking lots open four hours before kickoff and the gates open two hours before; for UNLV games the gates open 90 minutes early. Many fans walk from the Strip over the Hacienda Bridge. The stadium says the walk from the bridge's east end to the gate is 0.3 miles, or 10 to 15 minutes, and the bridge is closed to cars on game days. Tailgating is allowed in several on-site and off-site lots.
At the gate, only clear bags within the size limit and a small clutch get through; others can be checked for $20 at outside bag-check sites. Inside, every stand is cashless and outside food is not allowed. Once you leave, you cannot come back in.
