About
The Fountains of Bellagio play on the lake in front of the Bellagio resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Bellagio calls the show its calling card. The resort describes it as the most ambitious water feature ever conceived in complexity and scale, and says it is free for any visitor to watch.
The display was created with WET Design. More than a thousand fountains move in time with music and light along a stretch of more than 1,000 feet, and the highest jets send water as high as 460 feet into the air.
Bellagio says each performance is unique, so repeat viewings differ. Several of the resort's restaurants, and some of its rooms and suites, face the lake.
What to expect
You watch from outside along the lake, standing back or finding a place to sit, as the resort suggests. Each show pairs a set of jets with a piece of music and lighting. On weekdays the first show is at 3 PM, and shows run every half hour until 7:30 PM.
From 8 PM the show runs every 15 minutes until midnight, so evening visitors rarely wait long for the next one. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the half-hourly shows start earlier, at noon. Bellagio notes that the schedule may vary and that weather can cancel the outdoor display.
