About

The LINQ Promenade is an outdoor pedestrian street in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, beside The LINQ Hotel + Experience. It runs east from Las Vegas Boulevard toward the High Roller, the observation wheel at its far end.

Caesars says the High Roller rises 550 feet and calls it the largest observation wheel in North America. It has 28 air-conditioned cabins holding up to 40 people each, and one revolution takes 30 minutes.

Overhead, the Fly LINQ zipline launches riders from a 12-story tower on Las Vegas Boulevard. They travel 1,121 feet down the promenade and finish at the High Roller, at speeds up to 35 mph. Caesars says it is the only zipline on the Strip. Brooklyn Bowl, a concert venue with bowling lanes, is also on the promenade, as are quick-service spots such as Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Starbucks.

What to expect

Walking the promenade itself costs nothing; you pay for the rides, food and drinks along it. Restaurants and bars line both sides of the walkway, and Fly LINQ riders pass overhead on 10 side-by-side lines. The Sky Shop near the High Roller sells High Roller and Fly LINQ souvenirs.

At the end is the High Roller. Cabins rotate slowly enough that you board and leave without the wheel stopping. Each cabin has two benches, so you can sit or stand at the glass. Caesars says the ride takes about 30 minutes but suggests allowing about an hour for boarding and exiting. You can bring individual drinks aboard, but not glass, coolers or cases. Happy Half Hour cabins add an open bar for guests 21 and older.
