About
The Venetian Resort runs gondola rides on two routes. The indoor ride follows the Grand Canal through the Grand Canal Shoppes, under bridges and past cafes. The outdoor ride circles the resort's lagoon, with views of the Strip and the resort's Italian-style architecture. A singing gondolier steers each boat.
A shared ride costs $39 per person, with up to four guests per boat. On selected weekdays through mid-December, the resort lists a $34 rate. A private gondola costs $156. Photo packages start at $40, and the resort says pricing can change without notice.
Each ride lasts about 10 to 13 minutes. Wedding packages on the gondolas are arranged through Venetian Weddings, and proposals or other celebrations can be requested through the gondola team.
What to expect
Advance tickets are sold online up to 60 days ahead and work for either the indoor or outdoor ride. The resort says buying ahead gets the lowest guaranteed price. Same-day tickets are sold only in person, first come, first served, at Emporio d'Gondola or the outdoor booth. The resort suggests arriving at the launch about 15 minutes before your booked time.
In a shared gondola you may ride with other guests. Couples who want the boat to themselves can book a private gondola. Children are welcome, but pricing is per person whatever the age. If weather pauses the outdoor ride, an outdoor ticket can be used indoors at no extra charge. The last boat leaves 15 minutes before closing.
