About

Donny and Marie Osmond were Las Vegas veterans long before their Flamingo run. The Review-Journal reports that Donny and his brothers opened for Shirley Bassey at the Sahara in the mid-1960s and shared the marquee of the International, later the Las Vegas Hilton and now the Westgate, with Elvis Presley in the 1970s. Marie headlined Las Vegas in 1973, at 13, and the pair performed together at the Tropicana by 1974, before their ABC variety show ran from 1976 to 1979.

Their Flamingo show opened on September 9, 2008, as a let's-see trial booked for six weeks. Demand kept it going through the recession and for 11 years, with the Flamingo renaming its showroom the Donny & Marie Showroom and wrapping the hotel in a 67,500-square-foot image of their faces that, the Review-Journal reported in October 2008, became a Strip photo op. The 90-minute variety show mixed singing, dancing and sibling banter, running five nights a week, Tuesday through Saturday, in a room of about a thousand seats.

The siblings closed the show on November 16, 2019, after 1,730 performances seen by more than 900,000 fans, a month after their induction into the Las Vegas Walk of Stars. Marie told the final audience, "isn't it glorious what has happened here in 11 years."

Donny returned to the Strip on his own in 2021 with his first solo residency, at Harrah's Las Vegas, which Caesars describes as a return after the record-setting Flamingo run. In August 2026 Caesars extended the show through June 2027, with Osmond counting 16 years on the Strip between the two hotels.

What to expect

Donny Osmond's solo show is current: Harrah's Las Vegas lists him in the Harrah's Showroom, and Caesars' August 2026 announcement extends the residency through June 2027, Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Marie Osmond has no Las Vegas residency listed. The Flamingo show and its building wrap ended in 2019.
