About

Lady Gaga brought a new kind of pop production to the Strip when she opened Enigma at Park MGM's Park Theater on Friday, December 28, 2018. Billboard reported a capacity crowd of 5,200 and a 90-minute show in which she descended from above the stage for "Just Dance" and commandeered a giant robot during "Scheiße," with hits such as "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance." Alongside it she staged Jazz & Piano, built on stripped-down versions of her hits and jazz standards, which played nine times in 2019.

The pandemic halted both. When Gaga came back in October 2021, after what she counted as 652 days away, the room had been rebuilt and renamed Dolby Live, billed as the first venue with a fully integrated Dolby Atmos music system. Her refreshed Jazz & Piano opened it with six new numbers, including songs from Love for Sale, her final album with Bennett.

She kept toggling the shows until July 2024. The Review-Journal counts 72 performances at the Park MGM theater between December 2018 and that final run. At her closing show she told the crowd, "When we come back, we hope you'll come back. We'll have a whole new show for you." A year later she opened her Mayhem Ball arena tour just across the street at T-Mobile Arena, on July 16 and 18, 2025. MGM Resorts' entertainment chief Chris Baldizan said at the time that the company hoped to welcome her back to Dolby in 2026, but no new residency has been announced.

What to expect

There is no current Lady Gaga residency in Las Vegas. Dolby Live at Park MGM, where she played all 72 residency shows, still operates as a concert theater. Her family has a separate local link: her sister, Natali Germanotta, and Natali's husband opened the On Stage Essentials costume shop at 3550 E. Post Road in 2025, the Review-Journal reported.

Questions about Lady Gaga

Is Lady Gaga performing in Las Vegas now?

No residency is currently running or announced. Her Enigma and Jazz & Piano residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM ended in July 2024 after 72 shows. MGM Resorts said in 2025 it hoped to bring her back to Dolby Live in 2026, but no dates have been announced.

Where was Lady Gaga's Las Vegas residency?

It was at Park MGM on the Strip, in the theater first called the Park Theater and renamed Dolby Live in 2021. Enigma opened there on December 28, 2018, and both Enigma and Jazz & Piano played the same room until July 2024.

What is the difference between Enigma and Jazz & Piano?

Enigma was a theatrical pop show of hits like "Bad Romance" and "Just Dance," with Gaga flying over the crowd and riding a giant robot, per Billboard. Jazz & Piano paired stripped-down versions of her hits with standards such as "Luck Be a Lady," and in 2021 added songs from Love for Sale, her final album with Tony Bennett.

How many shows did Lady Gaga play in Las Vegas?

The Review-Journal counts 72 performances at the Park MGM theater, split between her two alternating productions, Enigma and Jazz & Piano. The run started in December 2018, paused during the pandemic and ended in July 2024. She later played two Mayhem Ball tour dates at T-Mobile Arena in July 2025.

Will Lady Gaga play the Sphere?

Nothing has been announced. The Review-Journal noted that her name surfaces in speculation about Sphere because she has the production scale and box-office pull, but reported there had never been serious talk of it from Sphere or from her camp.
