About
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is run by the Clark County Department of Aviation. Its address is 5757 Wayne Newton Boulevard. It has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, which are not linked by a walkway.
Terminal 1 serves the A, B, C and D gates and has a 6,000-space garage. Terminal 3 serves the D and E gates. It handles all international airlines and some domestic ones, and it houses U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The D gates are a satellite concourse that automated trams link to both terminals.
Rental cars are not at the terminals. They are at the Rent-A-Car Center, 7135 Gilespie Street, about three miles south, reached by free shuttle. The airport lists more than 17,000 public parking spaces.
What to expect
There are five TSA checkpoints, three in Terminal 1 and two in Terminal 3. The C/D checkpoint is open 24 hours; the others open in the early morning and close late at night. TSA suggests arriving two hours before domestic flights and three before international ones. Past security, the airport lists slot machines throughout the terminals, lounges, nursing suites, pet relief areas, a kids' play area at the D gates, and gaming lounges where smoking is allowed.
On arrival, taxis wait outside baggage claim at both terminals. Rideshare pickup is in the parking garages, and rental-car shuttles leave from marked ground transportation stops. The Las Vegas Monorail does not serve the airport. A free shuttle links the terminals about every 20 to 30 minutes.
