About

Magic Mike Live is a stage show inspired by the Magic Mike films. Channing Tatum created and co-directed it. In Las Vegas it plays in its own theater inside SAHARA Las Vegas, at 2535 S Las Vegas Blvd.

The producers describe it as a dance and acrobatic production rather than a traditional male revue. The official FAQ says thirteen men from around the world perform in front of, behind, above and all around the audience. Live music and comedy run between the dance numbers.

The show came before the third film. The producers say Magic Mike's Last Dance (2023) was inspired by the real-life Magic Mike Live. The first two films were Magic Mike (2012) and Magic Mike XXL (2015).

What to expect

The staging is 360 degrees, so performers work in the aisles and overhead as well as on stage. The show runs 90 minutes. Cocktail servers work the room for the whole performance and bring drinks to your seat. Some numbers pull audience members on stage. Selection is never guaranteed, though the official FAQ jokes that wearing pants raises your chances.

The show is 18+, and it uses strobe lighting and theatrical smoke throughout. Photography is allowed without flash, which the venue says can endanger performers. Professional cameras and recording devices are banned. Security checks bags and ID at entry, and large bags and backpacks are not allowed in the theater.

Guests must be at least 18 to attend and at least 21 to drink alcohol at the theater. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at entry, and security checks IDs and bags at the door. Discounted tickets for military, students or Nevada residents also require photo ID showing that status at will-call.

How long is Magic Mike Live and when are the shows?

The show runs 90 minutes. The official site does not publish a weekly schedule outside its ticketing calendar, but its VIP dinner package lists seating times for a 7:30 p.m. show and a 10 p.m. show. Check the date picker when you book, and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Is Magic Mike Live just a male revue?

The producers position it as a dance and acrobatic production with live music and comedy, staged in a purpose-built theater, rather than a traditional male revue. Channing Tatum created and co-directed it. Thirteen performers work around the whole room, including above the audience, and some audience members are brought on stage.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

No refunds are offered. You can exchange tickets for a future performance, based on availability, if you ask at least 24 hours before your show. Exchanges only apply to tickets bought through the official Magic Mike Live website or box office, and you pay any price difference. Late arrivals and no-shows cannot exchange.

What VIP add-ons are offered?

A post-show Meet & Greet costs $39 per person and includes bubbly in the VIP lounge, a professional photographer and a souvenir lanyard. Mike's Ultimate Experience costs $129 per person and adds a pre-show dinner at SAHARA's Balla Italian Soul, two drinks and a VIP coordinator. Specific cast members are not guaranteed.
