About

Australia's Thunder From Down Under is an all-Australian male revue with a resident show at Excalibur Hotel & Casino. It plays the Thunderland Showroom, next to the Thunder Bar on the resort's Castle Walk level.

The producers say the troupe has performed for more than three decades. The show is part of SPI Entertainment. Cast members have appeared in TV shows and films, and the group has had its own TV series. The troupe also tours the US, Canada and Europe, with Australia and New Zealand dates planned for 2027. The Vegas show keeps running while they tour.

The show leans hard on its Australian theme. Routines range from beach surfers to outback wranglers. The producers pitch it at bachelorette parties, birthdays and girls' trips, and call the night a "Girls' Night Outback."

What to expect

Expect a fast-paced male dance revue: choreographed numbers, costume changes, cheeky jokes and a lot of crowd work. The producers call it highly interactive and say it has adult themes. By entering, you are in what they call the "Thunderzone."

Performers may come into the audience to give a guest personal attention, or invite someone on stage. The producers stress that how much you join in is up to you, and you can simply watch. They are also direct that the show is not for everyone. If close audience interaction would make you uncomfortable, they ask you not to buy a ticket.
