About
NAB Show is the annual convention of the National Association of Broadcasters, the trade association for America's broadcasters. The organiser describes it as the marketplace where the media and entertainment industry gathers to see new technology, from production and post-production to streaming, AI, sports media and the creator economy.
NAB dates the show to 1923, and the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas, held April 15-19, was staged as a centennial celebration marking 100 years since the first NAB Show. Today the show runs in Las Vegas each spring, with a smaller NAB Show New York at the Javits Center each autumn.
NAB reported that the 2026 NAB Show welcomed more than 58,000 registered attendees from 146 countries, with 22% travelling from outside the U.S. and 48% attending for the first time. More than 1,100 exhibitors took part, including 132 first-time participants, and the conference program ran to more than 530 sessions with some 900 speakers.
What to expect
NAB Show 2027 runs April 3-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Conferences and workshops start on Saturday April 3, a day before the exhibit halls open, and the show floor runs from Sunday April 4 to Wednesday April 7. Daily hours for 2027 have not been posted yet.
The LVCVA-run convention center covers about 4.6 million square feet. The free Vegas Loop carries attendees between West Hall and the other halls in about two minutes, a walk the LVCVA says can take up to 25 minutes. The Las Vegas Monorail also stops at the convention center.
Expect exhibits on the show floor, conference tracks covering broadcast engineering, sports, enterprise video and the creator economy, and networking events. Badges are collected on site with photo ID.
