About
New Year's Eve is Las Vegas's biggest night on the street. Las Vegas Boulevard closes to traffic and becomes a pedestrian party, the resorts fill with concerts, club nights and special dinners, and at midnight a fireworks show goes off from rooftops along the Strip. Clark County brands the night "America's Party".
Visit Las Vegas, the LVCVA's tourism site, describes a coordinated eight-minute fireworks display at midnight. For 2025-26 it launched from nine Strip resort rooftops, including Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, The STRAT and The Venetian, with the Palms joining off-Strip, while the Plaza ran its own show over Fremont Street.
The LVCVA expects hundreds of thousands of revelers and advises booking flights, shows and dinners early. Clark County coordinates the night with LVMPD and local, state and federal partners.
