About

AREA15 describes itself as an immersive entertainment district, built from scratch, a few minutes west of the Las Vegas Strip at 3215 South Rancho Drive. The operator says it covers more than 600,000 square feet and lists 30 experiences on its own site, alongside live events, art installations, bars, restaurants and shops.

The district is split into two areas: Zone 1, called The Bunkers, and Zone 2, called The Terminals. A free tram, the Grounded Intra-District Tram, links them and runs every 10 minutes.

Several of the attractions are run by other companies with their own box offices. AREA15 names Meow Wolf's Omega Mart, Five Iron Golf, Universal Horror Unleashed, the John Wick Experience, The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show as separately ticketed. Newer additions it lists include the Eye Dropper, a 200-foot drop ride, the Museum of Ice Cream and Bullseye Social.

What to expect

AREA15 calls itself a self-guided adventure with no set path. You can start in either zone and wander between installations, performances, bars and shops, or spend hours inside a single experience. Some attractions run on timed tickets; others are open-access. Ambassadors at information hubs in Zone 1's main building and around Zone 2 sell tickets and hand out maps.

Getting in is free with an Access Level 0 Experience Pass, which covers Art Island and the Origin Quest scavenger hunt. Everything else is paid. Single experiences are sold one at a time, or bundled into Access Level passes: Level 1 includes 17 experiences and a drop on Eye Dropper, and higher levels add Wink World, Omega Mart, Universal Horror Unleashed or the Museum of Ice Cream. Have your QR code or reservation ready at each experience. Expect lasers, strobes, fog and loud sound in places.

Is AREA15 good for kids?

AREA15 says it is open to all ages, but visitors under 18 must be with an adult for the entire visit. Some experiences have height or weight requirements, and some may be too intense for young children and are recommended for ages 13 and up.
