About
SlotZilla is the zip line ride at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. All rides leave from the SlotZilla launch tower on Fremont Street, between 4th Street and Las Vegas Boulevard, and fly down Fremont Street.
There are two rides. The Zip Line, also called Zip-Zilla, launches from 77 feet with riders seated and runs three blocks, landing between Four Queens and Fremont casino. The Zoom Line, or Super-Hero Zoom, launches from 11 stories with riders belly down and head up, and runs five blocks to a landing between Golden Gate and Circa.
Each ride has four parallel lines, so up to four people launch at once. Flights are one rider per line, with no tandem rides.
What to expect
Your boarding time is when you join the queue, not when you fly. You are weighed, harnessed and taken through several safety checks, and the operator says to allow about an hour. Zip Line riders climb seven flights of stairs to the launch deck; Zoom Line riders can use ADA elevators.
You get a zipped bag clipped to your harness for phones, glasses and wallets, since personal cameras are not allowed in flight. An action camera is issued to each rider for HD video and photos, sold before or after the ride. The Zip Line flight lasts about 30 seconds; the Zoom Line about a minute. Photos are viewed at a photo booth at your landing.
