About

The Las Vegas Convention Center is owned and run by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority at 3150 Paradise Road. The LVCVA lists it at 4.6 million square feet, with about 2.9 million square feet of exhibit space and 225 meeting rooms. Meeting rooms seat from 20 to 2,500.

The campus covers about 200 acres and has four halls: North, Central, South and West. The West Hall opened in 2021. The LVCVA has since finished a $600 million renovation of the older halls, adding a Grand Lobby between North and Central halls and an indoor connector between North and South.

Two big lobbies, in West Hall and Central Hall, let several shows set up and run at once. The building hosts trade shows and conventions, and each event sets its own admission rules.

What to expect

Distances are long. The LVCVA says walking from West Hall to North or Central Hall can take up to 25 minutes. The Vegas Loop, a set of tunnels used by Tesla vehicles, does the same trip in about 2 minutes and is free on campus. It has five stations and can carry more than 4,400 attendees an hour. Rides to places off campus need a ticket.

Attendees entering the renovated Grand Lobby see a 75 by 42 foot digital screen. FedEx Office runs four business centers inside, in Central Hall, the Central Hall Concourse, the South Hall Lobby and West Hall. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated outdoor areas. Personal mobility devices other than ADA-approved ones are not allowed on the property.
