The City of Las Vegas calls the Arts District an 18-block neighborhood and brands it the 18b Las Vegas Arts District. The city says the district grew organically over several decades. Today it is home to shops, galleries, restaurants and a cluster of breweries and taprooms the city calls Brewery Row.
Most of the activity runs along Main Street, with more on Commerce Street and Charleston Boulevard. The city lists Brewery Row in the 1500 block of Main Street, between Utah and Wyoming avenues. Restaurants and bars confirmed on their own sites include Esther's Kitchen at 1131 S. Main St., Velveteen Rabbit at 1218 S. Main St., Hop Nuts Brewing at 1120 S. Main St. and Able Baker Brewing at 1510 S. Main St.
The district hosts First Friday, a free monthly arts festival run by the nonprofit First Friday Foundation for more than 20 years.
What to expect
On a regular evening, visitors walk Main Street between bars, restaurants and taprooms. Esther's Kitchen describes itself as a seasonal Italian neighborhood restaurant in the Arts District, run by chef James Trees. Hop Nuts Brewing opens at noon Monday through Thursday and at 11 a.m. on weekends.
On the first Friday of each month, the art walk takes over the district. The foundation lists more than 100 artists and makers, over 50 food trucks and restaurants, and live music. The October 2, 2026 event runs 5 to 11 p.m. at 1025 South 1st St. It includes live painting, a community mural and music on the City of Las Vegas stage from 5 p.m.
